What if wealth wasn’t about proving your worth, but remembering it?
What if healing your money story became part of how we heal the world?
If you’re feeling burned out but still underpaid — resentful but unsure why — or like you’re constantly trying to “feel abundant” while quietly stressing over whether your income matches the effort you’re putting in… you’re not alone.
Most women building businesses — especially heart-led, spiritual, or creative businesses— aren’t just designing offers and writing content.
In this new era of wealth—
We’re doing something deeper.
We’re trying to make peace with money.
And it’s hard. Not because we’re broken — but because we were never taught how to do this without guilt, fear, or self-sacrifice.
This post isn’t here to tell you to raise your rates and manifest more. It’s here to ask: what’s the story you’ve been living about money, success, and your own worth?
And, are you ready to write a new one?
The “Good Girl” and “Girlboss” Trap
It doesn’t matter if you grew up believing you had to be “nice” and quiet, or if you were taught to go out and dominate your industry — either way, the message was clear: perform, or you don’t deserve to receive.
The “good girl” says yes when she means no. She avoids talking about money because she doesn’t want to sound greedy. She over-delivers, undercharges, and feels deeply uncomfortable being visible in her full voice.
The “girlboss” looks like the opposite. She’s loud, branded, focused. She talks about six figures and scaling and “being unstoppable.” But underneath it all, she’s often trying to outrun the same wound: that love and safety are earned, not inherent.
Both are rooted in the same hustle. One just wears better lipstick.
So if you’ve tried both — and neither one feels quite right — you’re not confused. You’re waking up. And that discomfort? That’s where healing begins.
This Isn’t Just Personal — It’s Ancestral
The money wounds we’re carrying didn’t start with us.
Maybe your mother struggled to make ends meet. Maybe she was afraid to ask for help. Maybe no one ever told her she was allowed to want more. Or maybe your grandmother wasn’t legally allowed to open a bank account without a husband.
Those stories — even if they were never said out loud — live in us. They shape the way we price, the way we sell, the way we receive. They show up in our anxiety, our client boundaries (or lack thereof), and that little voice that says, “Who do you think you are?” every time we expand.
These inherited patterns don’t dissolve on their own — they have to be consciously rewritten. That’s the invitation of this new era of wealth: not just to make more, but to do it in a way that breaks cycles and builds something true.
This is why mindset work alone isn’t enough — the pain is in the body. The fear is in the lineage. And the healing? That starts with honesty — not another affirmation.
What Healing Actually Looks Like In the New Era of Wealth
Healing begins in awareness. But transformation? That’s a choice. Here’s where that choice might start to take shape…
Here’s the part most people skip: healing your relationship with money doesn’t mean ignoring your bills and lighting a green candle. And it sure as hell doesn’t mean “just thinking more abundantly.”
It means learning to listen to your nervous system before you say yes.
It means sitting with the grief of how long you’ve worked without ever feeling like it’s enough.
It means noticing the moment you start shrinking, overexplaining, or trying to “convince” someone to pay you.
And then — over time — it means learning to choose differently.
That might look like rewriting your offers so they actually reflect your gifts and your energetic capacity.
It might look like raising your prices because you finally believe it’s okay to be well-resourced.
It might mean slowing your launch down, even if it feels risky, because you’re done overriding your own timing just to meet a deadline that was never yours.
Healing looks like releasing the guilt when you finally choose to rest.
Like declining a payment plan that isn’t sustainable for you — and not apologizing for it.
Like charging in alignment with your value and your vision for your life.
It’s messy. It’s holy. And it doesn’t happen all at once. But every time you choose from truth instead of trauma? You change your story. For you — and for everyone who comes after you.
Your Business. Your Rules. Your Definition of Enough.
For some, wealth means six figures in the bank.
For others, it means more time to rest.
For you? Maybe it means not flinching every time you open QuickBooks.
Maybe it means trusting you don’t have to hustle to be safe.
Maybe it means freedom.
If you’re craving a more expansive relationship with wealth, Rachel Rodgers’ We Should All Be Millionaires is one of my faves and it offers a bold, unapologetic take.
This is your invitation to let go of someone else’s success story and start writing your own. You’re not here to perform value. You’re here to embody it.
A Final Money Note
If your money story still feels messy — you’re not failing. You’re healing.
And healing isn’t linear. It doesn’t always feel empowering. Sometimes it feels like canceling a launch. Sometimes it feels like crying after sending an invoice. Sometimes it feels like rage. Sometimes it feels like relief.
There is no shame in the process. There is only truth.
And truth, when honored, sets you free.
You don’t have to heal this alone.
You’re not behind. You’re making different choices now — and that’s what this new era of wealth is really about.
